Whelping Temperature Chart .A dog's normal temperature fluctuates between 101-102 degrees.
Temperature should be taken twice a day once in morning and once at night. Take her temperature while she is resting do
not take it after she has been exercising or walking about .
You may notice an increase in temperature right before the temperature drops. Any temperature lower than
99.2 indicates labor "could"began within 24 hours. I have seen a few bitches who did not have temperature drop at all and
some temperatures drop to 89. |
